The Hero of Ages - Brandon Sanderson

★★★★★

I AM FREAKIN UNWELL! I can barely form words. I cheered, I sobbed…what a masterpiece.

Narrative Voice: 3rd person omniscient
Cussing/profanity: 1/5*
Drug/alcohol use: 1/5*
Kissing: 2/5
Sex/nudity: 0/5
Violence/gore: 3/5

What a ride! I could barely pause the audiobook! Sanderson is a master at his craft, holy crap. Massive stakes that don't feel outrageous, plot twists, the jaw-dropping revelations that had been hinted throughout the trilogy. And his use of epigraphs is SO clever and really adds to the intrigue, ESPECIALLY for this book because of who it’s supposed to be. I cared for the characters like they were real—VERY rare for me btw. My husband can confirm I was lying awake late in bed listening to the final pages just SOBBING. What an ending to a trilogy. Glorious. Heart-wrenching. Perfect.
